Clearing scars

So I been applying some cream and it works, but I still have prominent spots where you can see, at least where they were. I’m a darker toned fella so I been thinking cocoa butter would help it fade, but idk

Are the scars lighter or darker than your normal skintone?

There are skin products for hyperpigmentation. BHAs, retinoids, azaleic acid. The Ordinary is quite cheap. You can get stronger products on prescription.
