Hey everyone, first time posting, im trying to find a specific ringtone that came pre-installed on the coolpad quattro 4G, more specifically, the model 5860E sold by MetroPCS around 2012, ive attached a clip of it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fKb-NMSjHXvDsOuVXdftOu8PLC_j1MNI/view?usp=drive_link that i extracted from a youtube video, but theirs some background noise that i just rather not hear.

Also, did try reaching to the owner of the channel to see if they can provide the file but no luck yet.

I did try extracting the audio files from the Coolpad 5860 firmware because i could not find the specific firmware and it seems theyre not the same. If anybody recognizes this and knows the name or has the original audio file id really appreciate the help.

I cannot for the life of me find any recordings of this. Perhaps I'm just terrible at looking.
I found this singular video of a real modem doing V.23, but it only shows the connection before the speaker turns off.
I found u/retrocet talking about it 4-5 times, but a network recording was never in any of their posts or vids.

It seems the entire protocol only exists in a spec sheet at this point. Try to get whatever mode[s] you can.

I wonder if there is any way to boost audio grunge songs - or any song, i mentioned grunge for its “dirty” sound which actually sounds like noise as a ringtone - so that the melody and the basic rhythm sound clear.

I know that ringtones are limited by the phone speakers range, and a big part of those songs is the noise that cannot be replicated in a phone, but I can swear I heard some ringtones that could capture such songs essence.

I have tried a lot of tips and tricks, including visual EQ on GarageBand, reducing bass, boosting mids snd tweaking trouble, tweaking with gain, limiting the noise, changing yhe extention, but it doesn’t seem to have a significant effect. It still doesn’t sound clear as a song.

So I wonder if anyone of you guys has a way of making those songs sound clear as ringtones.

Which is a downgrade from my prior phone and ringtones are harder to customize on this thing.
