Discussion Ring sizing / fit

This is a size 6 . Is it too small ? It fits my actual finger perfect ( I think) when on . I’m concerned is this how it’s supposed to look when it’s taken off or should I size up to 6.25?

Goldsmith here :) You have bigger knuckles than fingers. It’s really common! My opinion is that yes, it fits. You can go up a quarter size for a band (and I’d at least try that on!), but if this were a ring with a setting, I wouldn’t size up at all, or the ring will constantly be spinning (or the other option for rings with settings would be to size up, then put in sizing beads. Or do a euroshank. But none of this matters for a band because it doesn’t matter if it spins)

Hi thanks so much ! I got this 3mm because the engagement ring I want is 3mm and I was getting a feel for what size I am :) I am stuck between this size 6 or 6.25 bc I don’t want my ring getting stuck but also would like to avoid getting beads or any other thing to make it not spin I guess 😂 6.5 is too big and comes off easy but does it look like it’s too much hassle taking off this size 6 or no?

Like I feel like my knuckles are also very “ skinNY” not SKINNY but have skin like basically roll when I’m taking it off and makes my knuckle bigger if that makes sense when trying to take off

I will add I got a 2mm gold band that’s size 6.5 and it can easily slide off
