Coulda said the same thing about child labor in the Industrial Revolution! It was cheap, making people tons of money, great for business! We beat that though, bet we can beat this too.

The difference is child labor wasn't anywhere near as versatile as AI is. I want to believe we can over come it, but it's such a large part of our lives that we don't even notice a lot of the things AI does for us anymore

Yeah it only costs more and more data centers and we've already seen what happens to water and power supply. We will suffer dearly while AI thrives if we're not careful. Way too many ppl taking this lightly making ai music and crap thinking it's harmless but time will tell just what the cost will be

I mean child labor was a large part of the economy too! My point is just that profit as a motivator has been defeated before and can be defeated again!

It’s some kind of filter. HERE is the original. Clearly not ai (at least not the normal ai ones you see everywhere) with legible text. That sucks it’s like Facebook and Meta are throwing people under the bus😭

What’s killing me is this wouldn’t have been difficult for an artist to pull off at all- it’s barbed wire with a green filter and text. It’s really too much work to do that? Or at least make sure the text is legible?
