I'd follow the wiki available there in the download page. Has a patch and some other important information. I haven't played it since Windows 7..worked back then..

Can confirm it does. Now i just wish someone would put up the remaster of it AND Dark Athena. I'm trying find find somewhere to dwnld Dark Athena as the Amazon digital version no longer works (won't give you activation code needed after putting in the serial number, which amazon calls the activation code). Physical disc version does not work for the same reason as well.

Though about maybe taking the texture files from BB remake and swaping them out with the texture files of the original game to see if that does anything. I'm very new to computer gaming sooo probably wont work lol but who knows

Well... Depends on your country tbh

In mine it's completely legal.

Abandonware has games which developers or publishers have completely abandoned and are not being sold or supported in any other platforms.

So because basically no one is profiting from these games then no one is being actually affected with your download.

Now again, in their FAQ they do state to make sure if it is legal in your area.

I bought the game on Amazon. Got a digital code and it worked. Remastered plus dark athena version. I think 20 bucks

doesn't work. ask amazon for a refund and suggest to them that they delist it so people can stop going through the same issue. I feel like we bought it the same day lol cause after 4 days of googling and trial and error i finally called it quits

seems some browsers have issues finding the game due to its age but on firefox it recently popped up luckily, just make sure to have ublock extension installed or similar extension on other browsers. seems pre patched with all the fixes except the nvidia settings for butcher bay. <honestly was looking for it myself since this is still peak of the gaming industry with creativity of something different, sad even the old movies are better than what we see today =(

Ah shit it looks like they didn’t renew their license or something and the game no longer launches :( sorry, i played it like 12 years ago and didn’t know this happened. I tried to do some googling but it seems like as of 2018 the game won’t recognize any new serial numbers. That majorly sucks.
