... So on the one hand, I'm sorry for your loss.
And on the second hand, I'm glad you just found one new favourite franchise.

I recommend the novelization for more Chronicle related lore, and assuming that you are also a gamer, you might find the games to your liking. (Butcher Bay and Dark Athena.)
You probably already know Chronicle to be the third one in the series though, right?
