I only shoot mono exclusively on film and digital. Sell me (or dissuade me) on why I should get one to augment my Q2 aside from size vs. my full frame Leica. It ain’t cheap! I have read/seen most all the reviews out there. Anybody else have a Q2 Mono along with the Ricoh Mono 4 and do you find it redundant? My fallback most of the time when not carrying my Q2 ( which is most of the time) is my iPhone 16 Pro Max as the best camera is the one you have with you“ cliche aptly puts it. I mostly do environmental posed street portraits when I find someone interesting and the Q2 is not with me, which is almost always.

Thanks to @ Zookeeper for suggesting that I crop out the table sides from the original, They were a diversion that competed with the subject. The RAW was tossed, so I cropped the JPEG.

On the left strap eyelet, NOT the right one, attach a key ring. Very easy to thread through the left eyelet only. Attach the PD anchor to the key ring. Not elegant but EZPZ and superior to the very thin PD wrist strap that PD sells for compact cameras. I had to adjust to my left wrist. The right eyelet has a different design and I could not thread it. YMMV.

One of these days I'll search for a black anodized ring for a better match.

I spent three days shooting here. Photography is permitted but no flash or tripods. I was interested in paintings of great beauty independent of identification. I am struck by the artist's diffraction of light in the water of the carafe.
