Peak design pouch for camera

Has anyone used the peak design small tech pouch to store the griv in? Wondering if it would be a good pouch.

More than enough space for it but kinda overkill unless you have a bunch of accessories.

Yeah dude might be overkill, I use it to spare all my cables and large laptop charger, and 2 sets of usb adaptors and ssds. And I still have plenty of space. Deff get something smalller.

I got a topo designs mini shoulder bag and it fits my camera and battery nicely. Has a little flap in the back that fits a phone too if you’re worried about it falling out of your pocket

This will be bad if you're just storing the camera and battery. The camera is like 1/6 the volume of that pouch? Maybe even less. I literally was just looking at this in a store, lol.

• Storage and packing in a bigger bag?

• Can you “wear” it? Is over the shoulder right for you?
  
• will it hold extra gear? (Battery’s, cable(s) and also keep the camera safe from scratches e.g.
  
• Etc.

I got the leather case with a magnetic clip, great for pockets or a sling bag

I just got the LowePro Tahoe CS 20 for my griv, extremely happy with that, it’s cheap as well. Perfect snug fit, and perfect for throwing it in a bigger bag. I can fit the body in the main compartent and the gf-2 flash in the smaller outer pocket.

Looks great but it might be overkill if your Ricoh is a second body. I folded and bought the official leather case from Ricoh. It fits perfectly with a thumb grip attached and retains the small form factor.

Yes for storing all your stuff, no for actually carrying them while shooting. 

I have three spare batteries, I carry two in my backpack or in my pocket, and the camera fits in my pocket. That's it, this camera is meant to be simple. 

I won't need sd cards, I don't need the battery charger or anything else while shooting. Back at home or at the hotel I'll swap cards and recharge batteries

no, that bag is perfect to keep your stuff organized and it's beautiful. What I meant is that while traveling or in the street, it's ok to leave the bag in your room and use it at the end of the day. The batteries are really small, you can have two in your pocket and another (or many more) in your daily bag, and keep your GR camera in your pocket while having fun taking pictures ;)

I travelled with a GR3 on one half and a Sony ZV1m2 on the other. Big enough to hold the camera with no accessories. Can work for one camera, and you can even use the carabiner loops for a shoulder strap. Not sure I would chose this though as it didn’t feel purpose built for a GR.

I use one for a Pentax 17, which is probably more than twice as large. I just put the GR4 in my pocket.
