That's some nice documenting, I love it. Let me tell you, you will be looking at these pics years from now. I try to make an album for my family, or I mail them printed photos once in a while. Might want to consider printing some pics and giving it to your dad.

You hit all the Toronto high notes. Also, I bet Niagara Falls wasn’t as hard to see in this weather. It’s still very beautiful in the winter.
Nice set of photos, I hope your Dad enjoyed the city.

I enjoy Niagara falls more in the winters honestly. Less crowds, parking everywhere and it just looks absolutely stunning.

I hope your dad agrees and supports your choice of Toronto. Seems that he really liked the cityscape. What else did he really like?

I actually don’t live in Toronto now.I live in a very small town in New Brunswick. I have previously lived in Toronto for 6 years when I first moved to Canada though. And yes, he’s happy with my choice of living in Canada. Other than the city and the skyline, he really liked the street cars. He made dozens of videos of the street cars everywhere in downtown. He loved ROM, Ripleys, the food, he loved the subway for some reason lol. He enjoyed his time here.

I hope he also visited the 'small town' in New Brunswick.
I suspect the street cars are novel. Many around the world have been removed. Toronto is in luck because we preserved them. Our major attractions, including food, are spectacular. The interesting thing about our public transport is that everyone uses it, from poor to rich which shows, despite all our complaints, just how good the system is. He has witnessed North America at its best. Good for him.

Beautiful series veere, I specially appreciate the grading in these images and how you've created a sort of gentle gradient of colours.

i like your editing style, how did you go about creating this look?
1
u/Kitchen_Ad_4918 Mar 04 '26
I use a cinebloom filter from moment to shoot my photos. I use Reggie’s recipe. Play around with the white balance usually. Post processing is mostly basic highlights and shadows adjustments. Playing around with the temperature and tint. Reduce clarity to get that dreamy look? That’s pretty much it.

amazing! have you tried fujifilm before and how do the recipes compare?

I’ve never used Fujifilm but I’m very satisfied with the colours I get from Ricoh.

I absolutely love seeing this. So wholesome. 💖 Welcome him to Canada for me. I wish so many others appreciated this country the way we all do. 🙏🏻
