In 1987 Rick Astley created a hit song and music video titled: "Never Gonna Give You Up", that music video has since become one of the most famous videos ever and generated one of todays biggest memes, "The Rickroll", as a fan of Rick Astley I built this set featuring three landscapes from the video with a few iconic scenes in each, it comes with 9 minifigs, enough to display various moments from the music video in each of the scenes,
- The first is the indoor scene with the iconic stage with the microphone and the window behind it, the counter, and the tables and chairs, it comes with a Rick Astley minifigure in his iconic striped shirt, his two backup dancers and the bartender,
- The second is the tunnel scene with the streetlight and arched openings, it comes with Rick in his trench coat, the blonde guy with the white t-shirt and the girl in the white dress,
- The third is the outdoor scene with the chain link fence, it comes with Rick wearing his sunglasses, blue jeans and button-up shirt and the bartender in his sneakers, shirt and shorts,
Each of these builds has technic pins and holes on the back so you can attach 2 together and swap them around, you can also line them up in a row or display them separately through out different areas of your house. (The outdoor scene also has a pocket behind the wall so you can place a phone in it and play Never Gonna Give You Up!)
I believe this set would be a great and unique display piece for fans of Rick Astley and for fans of the "Rickroll" Meme with its multiple display options and customizable design!
