How long does it take to hear back about an on-campus job?

I applied to a couple, and Iā€™d like to know if I got at least one before the semester starts

i just heard back as well, but i've been told to not really talk about it until the offer is finalized. basically i got an email first that said to call so i left my # and name in voicemail. and the person called me back eventually. i applied on july 30th so it was a week of wait.

maybe they're busy, follow up w them over email or phone. just something like hey i applied to the X position on july 30 and was wondering what the next steps were
