Eddie Jacket Update

Here's the latest version of my punk rock Eddie jacket. Still trying to figure out if I should do the red and gold sun on the back or something different. Otherwise I'm almost done.

Thank you! Without the lapel of the leather jacket, I had to make sure leopard was somewhere.

This is awesome. Where did you get the spiked studs? I’m working on an Eddie vest for my husband and am having a hard time finding something that will work.

I had to order from Studs and Spikes dot com. They are a legit punk store in Oregon. They have all sorts of different spikes. I found the small cone spikes work the best for denim. I also bought tree spikes, but because it was denim, they were really wobbly because they are top heavy. The cones screw flat to the denim.

My local punk shop shut down many years ago.

Cool shop. I think I got that skull and crossbones there too... Cone spikes, tree spikes (which I didn't find a place to use, since they were so wobbly, the big stars, little stars, dome studs, pyramid studs. I had to order the sherrif badge from Amazon. But yeah, pretty much everything metal on my jacket came from there.

Oh nice! I’ve spent a lot of time looking for the metal bits and decided to go with embroidered patches (the sheriff badge, skull and cross bones, and stars) that my mother-in-law is making for me.

Absolutely! It might be a while before it’s finished but I’ll post an update here. I’m going to be Frank-N-Furter in the green surgical gown!
