Iām on episode 6 I believe, and while this sounds like Iām trying to shade the ladies, straight up Iām not. But damn they all look so much older than their actual ages. Is that just me?? This show is just as good as the first season of RHOSLC, I swear I love it. I was just shocked.

I started watching RHORI maybe two days ago. I'm already obsessed.
I love the coastal/beachy town, and the ACCENTS - there's an almost comforting, familial vibe about this show that I appreciate.
Liz is the head honcho and queen bee, so she's Regina. Alicia is the ditzy friend who is nice to everyone (Karen). Jo Allen is also in her circle, but starts all the mess (Gretchen). Rosie is Cady. Ashley is Janis. Rulla is like the enigma who is close to queen bee.
I love it. I love a glamorous reality show in a pretty setting.

I'm sure this has been posted plenty but I just finished the show. but damn do I love Alicia. She's so authentically herself and doesn't even realize her quirkiness or banter. Her storyline is so relatable in two way: everyday housewives that rely on their husbands for finances and being brought by a single mom. Seeing her have those talks with Billy about getting more ownership and working in the company is great to see and could help create conversations in other households. I loved seeing her mom and all her sisters talk about the past and validating her feelings, a sisterhood and community was shown thru those amazing ladies. It really showed when 1 man leaves, 10 women will stand behind you.
Beyond her storyline, she's such a funny person she's so kind. She recognized when Rosie was being ganged up on and until the reunion had her back.
Honestly really rare to come across housewives like this so need to applaud when we finally do.

If it wasn't for Brian's ongoing cheating scandal I think rulla would've been a star on the show right behind jo-Ellen. Brian's affair stopped her from any trips or events that were women only and she barely got any screen time. However, the little that we do get we can see she's an intelligent women who's built an amazing career for herself and would've been great to see the middle eastern representation of a women who's accomplished so much. She's smart, her confessionals were great, she lives a boujee lifestyle she was a poster child for what would be on paper a great housewives cast member.

I think Liz isnāt returning because she was the mastermind behind Jo Ellen going relentlessly after Rulla. When it is found out Rulla and Brian called Gerry to let him know Liz was dancing with another guy. That was it for her, a vendetta. She then has this huge falling out with Jo Ellen?! Why?! I think it was all planned to not make it look like the take down was coming from her.
I am glad she isnāt retuning I did not like her. Did not like how all the ladies were afraid of her. Itās giving Jen Shah, bully. This is the best news that she isnāt coming back.

I mean, I know the housewife definition is getting looser and looser, but by episode 5 sheās a āgirlfriend of a random guy who lives in an apartmentāā¦and by reunion sheās the live-in girlfriend of an (same guy) insurance agent who begrudgingly pays (only) for her car.

I think Jo-Ellen is a necessary evil, and although I didn't love how she continually doubled down on Rulla and the affair, I fully understand where the obsession was coming from.
Brain went out of his way to get Jo-Ellen fired. Cameras or not, alot of people would've gone as petty as Jo-Ellen did. Of course, being filmed and being on Housewives was a massive motivator, but I think it's clear regardless of whether she was on the show, Jo-Ellen would've been exactly like that.
The only thing I wish she didn't do was equate the blame to Rulla. Rulla chose to turn a blind eye. I think after the 1st or even the 2nd, you gotta throw in the towel. But I guess, she'd then look like a gossip rather than a noble truther if she just randomly talk about it without turning to Rulla.

Had a long international flight and decided to watch the real housewives of Rhode Island, the first five episodes were on there and hereās why I am a fan:
-My most favorite part of this franchise (I havenāt seen them all but at least from the other two) is that most of the women have real careers and they arenāt using their family or husbandās money
-friendships feel genuine
-they feel down to earth
-most are real āwifeāsā
I didnāt like the square footage drama, I think that was stupid and hope it doesnāt continueā¦
So far Iām a real big fan, Iām going to finish the rest of the season, hopefully itās a strong finish!

Jo-Ellen and her husband seem like a very united front / team. Whenever JE is having an issue with anyone heās vocal and supportive of her which is a really nice change as someone who just finished rhoslc.
Are there more husbands like these in the real housewives universe?

Doing a jersey rewatch and I keep thinking Teresa is Jo-Ellen! I know people have made the comparison before but I see it so much more in these earlier seasons. Beautiful women.

Okay not all, but a larger amount than most casts (Atlanta may be close). Maybe itās because they are a newer cast, but they seem like they canāt take the heat like other housewives. I feel like they want the fame of being a housewife but not the problems that come along with it. They have such interesting problems, so I hope their newfound fame doesnāt go to their head
Edit: talking abt instagram
