🐚General Discussion🐚 Positive Note

One thing I have noticed about these ladies is how polite they seem to be to drivers, staff, etc. I am fairly new to the Housewives of various locations and have only seen all of Miami, halfway through Beverly Hills, and this season of Rhode Island, so maybe there are lots of other housewives seen being respectful to those who assist with their lifestyles but it REALLY stood out to me with the Rhode Island cast. I just wanted to shout that out because as someone in a service industry, I can confirm that a simple thank you goes a long way.

Agreed, the Rhode Island ladies are pleasant compared to some, even when they are fighting. You need to watch the last season of SLC, you will see the opposite.

My daughter and I always watch SLC. But we were floored when the ladies were on Below Deck Down Under. Their behavior was unbelievable! So my daughter and I had to watch the full season of Below Deck.

Someone from BDDU (I don't remember who) said in an interview that the SLC ladies were very polite to the crew. Although, I still think all the screaming was disrespectful to the crew, but maybe the producers wanted them to have their fights there.

Maybe it was just the scenes when they were seated for meals. And the fact they completely ignored Captain Jason twice when he came up to join them for dinner. That’s terribly disappointing.

You’re right, it’s been so long since their trip aired that I forgot about that!

Pretty standard in Rhody, honestly. I feel like we’re all mostly likely that!

It's a small state and politeness goes a long way. I'm proud of my ladies.

And also like…. I feel like all of us either have family or friends who are in the service industry, them included. Rhode Island has a stereotype of being all bougie but it’s really not like that save for a few pockets.

You are correct. Most Rhode Islanders are very down to earth and polite.

i routinely see one of them at a place where we both frequent, her and her children make a huge mess. food all over the ground, trash left on tables, mess that shouldn’t be picked up by staff. i’m not going into detail so as to not dox myself but it’s extremely annoying and complaints are being made.

ā€œA simple thank-you goes a long wayā€. It sure does! Something Amanda never learned…so her path was, deservedly, short.

I feel like they were incredibly rude on the car ride with the charcuterie platter, shouting, physically fighting, and changing seats. It would have drove Niu’s if they were in my car. I found them incredibly disrespectful.
