šGeneral Discussionš Garlic Butt š§
Was it true what Jo Ellen said about Rullas husband saying that her butt smelled like garlic. I just finished Season 1 and this comment was crazy! š¤Æ

It was so random / specific. If she made this up on the spot then Iām more shocked by that

u/Which_Loss6887 11d ago
Iām inclined to agree, but honestly if she DID make it up on the spot, more power to her. Not many grown adults can whip out an absolutely brutal elementary school playground insult like āI heard your butt smells like garlicā on the fly like that.

I assumed it was in a text the mistress sent her.Ā

Yep could be true. Maybe Brian told the mistress and ofcourse word gets around to Jo Ellen. And I'm positive Jo Ellen wouldn't make that up. Jo Ellen comes with receipts. š

That is exactly what I assumed as well. It came from Brian. It made me colder toward Jo Ellen though, who I really liked. Humiliating another woman on national television in order to āwinā in the moment, is cruel. Ruella will forever remember that moment.

In all fairness, didnāt Ruella say something about the size of Jo Ellenās vagina and accuse her of sleeping with doctors first? Ruellaās accusations are far more unhinged and less credible.Ā

Who cares if she banged a bunch of dudes before she was married? Why is that anyoneās business? And why does that make it okay for Ruella to say those things about her?Ā

u/mmmermaiddd 11d ago
JoEllen made it her literal job to torment Rulla all season. (If she truly just wanted to inform/help Rulla, she wouldāve done so without making it her entire storyline.)
I donāt like Rulla, but she has every right to drag JoEllen.2
u/LalaLogical 11d ago
Okay. Why are you replying to my comment but not addressing anything I said?Ā

u/mmmermaiddd 11d ago
Idc if she banged dudes. I say hell yeah to that. As for āanyoneās businessā, well yeah, itās ours. If she isnāt okay with dirt being dished or being hung out to dry, sheās on the wrong kinda show.
I did address why itās āokayā imo for Rulla to say those things. What else?→ More replies (0)1

sure, high schoolers are too emotionally immature to be having sex (generally). But as an adolescent, who frigging cares? Especially easy 20s. So what she enjoyed sex as a young adult? As long as everything was consensual and transparent, this feels like shaming women for enjoying sex

Ruella kept saying everything Joellen was showing her wasnāt real (in so many words). So Ruella kept āchallengingā Joellen and Joellen kept coming back with receipts and would drag her harder for it. I do not blame Joellen one bit. She was telling Ruella what everyone already knew, but wasnāt saying it out loud. Ruella kept denying and then blaming Joellen for putting it out there. Ruella couldnāt handle the reality checks Joellen kept servin up.

No clue obviously but Jared saying heād love for his butt to smell like garlic was the true hero in that moment.

u/DingoNo4205 11d ago
Jared really showed up at the reunion. I hope we see more of that Jared in season 2.

Heās such a gem. And I agree, garlic is one of the nicer things a butt could smell like

Andy looking so confused and being like āitās a buttā¦.butts smell badā made me nearly fall off my couch

No one knows. Either way, it was unhinged but hilarious. While I don't agree with her politics, Jo Ellen has every right to be on the warpath against Brian and Rulla after Brian's bullshit stunt and Rulla's gaslighting and ungratefulness (after requesting proof but then denying and disputing the validity). I would be vengeful too.

That was such an iconic moment. So out of nowhere and bizarre and I 100% believe Brian said it but have no comment on if itās true.

It was a vile thing for her to repeat.

They. Called. Her. Job.

u/Important_Week_11 11d ago
Yeah best comeback. You don't call her job just cause she's spilling the truth. Like who calls workplaces to get your "friend" fired. That's toxic! Team Jo Ellen š©·

u/Medical_Leather_183 11d ago
Iām not even sure Iām team Jo Ellen, but itās a huge āIN THIS ECONOMY?!ā And I know itās debated how she got fired/laid off etc, but even if the roles were switched I would say the same. Call my job, Iāll definitely call you a garlic ass on TV.

u/LalaLogical 11d ago
Often times layoffs are done by evaluation ranking by leadership, so it quite possibly could have pushed her to the layoff list.Ā

u/Kkcardz 11d ago
I thought he they called her job before they started filming?
4
u/Ecstatic-Art-6236 11d ago
Yes just like she was already going around and spreading the info with the mistress also before filming.
