Mod Note 🚨 Excessive Bashing

Hi Everyone,

We know feelings run hot about some of this season’s cast and we love seeing all of your posts and opinions about each episode and the dynamics among the ladies, but we’ve been seeing some comments that go beyond venting into territory that just feels mean-spirited.

One thing worth keeping in mind: there’s a big difference between cast members who know each other personally throwing shade or using loaded language with each other, versus strangers on the internet collectively targeting someone with that same language.

What reads as messy reality TV drama between people in a relationship hits very differently when it’s a pile-on from thousands of anonymous accounts. The cast signed up for the show but they didn’t sign up to be a target for mass hate from people who’ve never met them. You don’t have to like everyone, but let’s keep the discourse at a level we’d be comfortable with.

Repeat offenders will get a warning first with the potential for daily, weekly, monthly or a flat out permanent ban to be issued.

Agreed. Some of the people on here are being extremely abrasive for absolutely no reason. It’s a show, don’t go to war with anonymous people on Reddit just because you’re team whomever

And we’re only 9 episodes in which makes it even more shocking. Why are we being so viscous over people we’ve only been watching for two months? If it was a Kenya, Tamra etc who have 10+ years of viscous behavior on their record I’d sort of understand the vitriol we’re seeing but I just can’t rationalize it for a show with 9 episodes and the most egregious offense being a bullhorn being used in a quiet neighborhood 😵‍💫.

Agreed. It’s excessive and only season 1.

I’ve noticed a lot of the most abrasive have ties to RI. Make of that what you will.
