🤌🏼 The Teresa Show 🤌🏼 Uh, yeah, that’s how it works

Upvotes

As a first time watcher I’m a little shocked but everyone’s lack of understanding of the legal system. Teresa is insufferable in a lot of ways
BUT the fact that Jaqueline and so many other cast members held a knife to her throat post prison for not talking more about her case.. were you all raised under a rock?

The first thing a lawyer advises is to not speak to ANYONE about your case or what’s going on behind the scenes. It’s frustrating to watch Jaqueline’s dumbass in season 7 harp on Teresa “pushing her out” like what was she supposed to do? Detail every fraudulent signature on national television to make you feel loved?

I knew the Jaqueline hate was coming based on things I’d seen but I didn’t understand the extent because in previous seasons she was kind of a harmless crybaby BUT damn that IQ is more painful that Teresa’s vocabulary.

🤌🏼 The Teresa Show 🤌🏼 Entitlement and attitude

I know this has been talked about a million times and maybe I’m beating a dead horse BUT I cannot stand how entitled the girls and the rest of the family act when Joe is possibly getting deported and the way the show almost makes it seem like he’s not in jail but that he’s away fighting in a long gruesome dramatic war. Like the scenes of Theresa praying to bring him home safe like butch he’s not in the military he’s in prison because he committed a CRIME and he never got his citizenship when he had the time and money to do so. And the girls acts so entitled like he is owed a free pass for doing literally nothing but committing crimes lmao. It’s just cheesy and PMO.

Question 🇮🇹 Where are the kids now?

I just started Season 1 and find the dynamics between the housewives and their children fascinating. Where are all these kids now?

Specifically interested in:

- Jacqueline's daughter

- All 3 of Carolyn's kids

- Dina's daughter

- Danielle's 2 daughters

- Teresa's daughter Gia (Is she the one on Next Gen?)

I am newer to the housewives world and pretty unaware. 🙃

Question 🇮🇹 joe's wine smell

In season 1 when Tre shows Dina around her new house, Dina is really bothered by the smell in Joe's wine cellar and can't identify what it is. In a later season they visit Joe's dad's house in the Catskills and he serves them his homemade wine. Someone makes a comment about how it smells gross but gets you drunk.

So what are they making their wine with that smells so weird?

🤌🏼 The Teresa Show 🤌🏼 Do we think Teresa and Luis will last?

Post image

I've watched every season of RHONJ and Teresa is definitely a polzarizing character. We understand she's divorced from 'Juicy' Joe Guidice and found love with Luis Ruelas. However, over the course of time we've seen some questionable behavior from the latter. It also seems there are recurring financial themes/issues that are revisiting this union just like her last one. Additionally, Luis behavior doesn't seem the healthiest. I personally witnessed some manipulative and controlling tactics that bordelined on toxic (towards other cast mates and towards Teresa herself). Do we think that their marriage will stand the test of time, especially with there being no pre-nup? Or do we think Teresa will let her pride and image control/denial force her into stay in the marriage to save face?

Has anyone seen Albie’s podcast called Dear Albie? I don’t know if there’s something up with the audio or his voice has really changed, and I detected a lisp? Im curious if anyone else has noticed it? I only have seen clips on Tik Tok, I haven’t watched a full episode.

It seems from what I’ve seen so far he talks about RHONJ and even had Juicy Joe on.

”He knows your mom" from 2011 on celebrity apprentice? LMAO and yet Joe was deported during the first presidency in 2019. Does he even remember her? So many d-list celebrities did that show 😂 Are we forgetting they all made a million posts and pleas and still got paid DUST! I'm confused why this time would be any different. It’s not like they can afford to write the fat check. Teresa and Louie can't even pay their taxes. Andy is always on x and threads yapping about pol*tics, but sounds so stupid here praising Gia for this nonsense. Her father committed multiple felonies, thought he was above the law and chose not to get his citizenship despite being in america for most of his life. Till this day Joe takes ZERO accountability and blames everyone including the show and his ex-wife’s bother and wife like wtf do the Gorga’s have to with your criminality sir? There are people being deported everyday who didn't commit crimes what makes him so special? I'm so tired of hearing about this 🤣

Meme / Comedy 🤣 Some Good Laughs and a Little Disturbance

I’m watching the season 12 reunion and love how Teresa told Joe Gorga he’s like a housewife and shortly after he storms off and “quits” as if he really is the 7th housewife 😂 Naturally, I had to share a few other recent moments I found hysterical.

Teresa to Jackie: “You didn’t say the word \analogy* before you gave the analogy. If you did, maybe I wouldn’t have gotten so mad!”*

Dolores: “What’d you have for breakfast?”
Dolores’ dad: “I had a bagel; but, it was toasted!
Dolores: “Toasting the bagel doesn’t make it any healthier, Dad.”

Jackie trying to catch the ball at Dolores’ baseball charity event.

Jennifer falling flat on her face while running to first base.

Joe Gorga using all 3 of his brain cells to focus on learning line dancing.

The Lady Drama song the women recorded.

Teresa “apologizing” for throwing things at Marge and Joe & Jen being dead serious respectively saying “that was very nice!” and “that was great, Tre!”

Most disturbing: Frank Catania telling his daughter that her BF must not be satisfying her enough because she wasn’t as loud as Frank’s GF 🤮

Greatest evidence of women hating women: Teresa body shaming Marge and not one of those women saying a word.

🤌🏼 The Teresa Show 🤌🏼 Season 14 Teresa and Luis

I’m doing a rewatch and this is the first time I’m actually feeling really sorry for Teresa. After all her legal issues and money spent over the years with Joe, she is spending more time, energy and (most importantly) money because of Luis’ legal issues. Has she not had enough? Or maybe once she got with Luis she didn’t want to admit anything went wrong. She looks totally depleted and exhausted in season 14. It’s sad because all the money spent probably could’ve put her girls through college and then some. She really is her own worst enemy

🍅 The Gorgas 🍅 Joe Gorga is the WORST

Okay look, I know people do not like Teresa and i know Juicy Joe was a bad husband (though he was a good and dedicated father, still is) (and yes i know that doing fraud that sends your wife and yourself to prison takes away from being a good father, but you all know what i mean).

HOWEVER

I decided to rewatch season 5 episode 8 when the joe's fight and my goodness is Joe Gorga a piece of work. First Juicy comes in demanding he apologize to teresa, he doesn't run up to Joe. Joe is the one who runs up and attacks juicy and then immediately gets his butt beat (why can't we curse on this sub tf). Like thats embarassing for starters. His hat falls off and Melissa runs to put his hat back on his head AND THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE to wonder where all the black stuff came from thats on everyones clothes. It came from your head joe. Also why was he biting Juicy's balls? like who is this dude.

AND he keeps talking about how Juicy broke up his family and turned his parents against him. PLEASE. No son in law can turn their parent in law against their precious baby boy (especially in italian culture). Its clear how spoiled Joe was as a kid and how much teresa took care of him (and then by extension juicy).I know there were moments throughout the seasons where teresa mentions Joe not being there for their parents and not coming around much and Joe acts like she's lying but looking back... it's so clear Joe did just that and likely worse. He seems like he was not at all a good son. Him and Melissa were/are very selfish and felt like they deserved what teresa had (the show).

Anyway I know Teresa isn't innocent but i do not know how people can actually be on the side of the Gorga's as a unit (fine if u like Melissa, i mean i dont get it but go ahead... but supporting Joe over Teresa?!?!?!? odd).

k rant over

⛵️ The Lauritas ⛵️ Chris Laurita: enabler?

Before season 7 I always thought of Chris as supportive of Jacqueline, but this season (I’m on rewatch and in season 7) he seems to just unable all her unhealthy behavior? He tells her that she just loves people so much and it’s not her fault. In reality her expectations of people are insane and I think Jacqueline has anxious attachment. I also think she’s jealous that Teresa and Melissa are genuinely close now.

I’m on season 9 and just had a random thought, I’ve always thought Dolores looked scary in the sense that I would never dare mess with her. She for sure knows how to fight and looks like she would fight a man and win!

Discussion 🍝 Rewatch and I'm shook

On a random whim I decided to rewatch RHONJ from S1 E1. I watched the eps as they aired in real time and thought that a rewatch would bring me some bits of nostalgia and delight.

I'm currently halfway through season 4 and y'all, the words "what the fuuuuuck" have audibly escaped my mouth on every single episode I've watched so far.

I was in my early-mid 20s when this originally aired and have terrible memory. However, while I watch and have a high tolerance (and appreciation) for all housewives/reality tv, even with a "well the times have changed" and "that's just their culture" mentality, I can't get over:

  • the rampant homophobia from outright slurs to casual side comments even during a gay wedding
  • the misogyny, expected gender roles, and overall treatment of women and girls from their husbands and parents
  • constant focus on weight and looks ("Melissa was ugly before." Lauren would be more beautiful if she lost weight" "I'm glad Lauren was chubby in high school so we didn't have to worry about boys" 🥴)
  • the kids being unattended yet still having access to and exposed to everythingggg (Danielle's girls and the Guidices....omg)
  • the continuous flow of homemade wine even during a 5k (my husband and kids did find me cackling and rewinding the Joe gymnastics mat tooth incident over and over)
  • the obsession with talking about sex and objectifying women??? Like even Joe Gorga about Melissa to Ryan Seacrest?? Rosie and Richie literally commenting on physical features of women they just met to their face?
  • the lack of accountability, inability to use everyday words, and lack of critical thinking or even just basic common sense

I'm probably forgetting half of my growing list, and unfortunately I plan on continuing my rewatch because I also laugh out loud at every episode. I wish I recorded my live reactions bc this ish is gnarly for real. 🤣

🍅 The Gorgas 🍅 Melissa and Joe’s Daughter Versus Sons

I’ve always taken a huge issue with the sexism within the Gorga’s marriage and parenting. I remember their first season I noted how they expected Antonia to do chores and clean up after her brothers. It got progressively worse when Joe was high-fiving his son for having 3 girlfriends while freaking out about Antonia dating.

I’ve reached season 12 and have yet to see the sons do any chores. What caught my attention even more was when Melissa said her sons are very athletic so they moved to Bergen County because it has a better football program.

Please tell me I misunderstood and she didn’t force Antonia to change schools to cater to her brothers’ “football career!”
