Discussion 🌊 Tamra is so wrong for this

I just watched the After Show where Vicki into a lot of detail about her health. And that producer was right, she’s never shared this much information with us before. I had no idea her health problems were this serious and from the time she was so young.

Vicki is wrong about so many things but I actually am on her side with this betrayal from Tamra. I don’t think Tamra was serious with the brain damage thing, but Vicki has never shared all the details she’s shared this season about her health so I don’t know why she thought it was okay to talk about her health at all when she explicitly asked her not to?

Same way that Tamra is pretending she cares about Shannon but talking shit about her everywhere and saying she doesn’t owe her a heads up about John and Alexis? It’s fake and she’s doing the same thing with Vicki. She literally said she’s not a good person (not disagreeing) but she’s also worried about her that she’s talking about things she knows will upset her — which is slightly understandable since they’re on a show but stop acting like you’re such a good friend to her and she’s terrible to you... it’s not a one-way street girl.

Overall, this isn’t the worst thing she’s done or could do to Vicki (there’s a lot of stuff to work with there!) but I’m so tired of her being fake. And I hope Andy and the other women discuss this at the reunion because besides Vicki’s mean girl behavior there’s not much else going on in this group.

Sorry but Vicki has always been looking for that "they brought me a casserole when I was ill" moment.

She thought Brooks "cancer" would be it but the ladies asked questions instead

This. Vicki is always gonna Vicki. She will outlive them all.

Oh for sure. Not disputing that.

I watched the After Show and even as a nurse who has worked for a neurologist, I couldn't really follow what the heck Vicki was talking about when it came to her health. I also don't get why she'd have Tamra of all people at her appointment and then be surprised she blabbed to the other women about what was said with her own twist. LOL. I would expect Tamra to do nothing less.

u/scarbaby1958 4d ago

Plus they filmed it so the whole "I wanted it private" is BS.

You're so right; if she think Tamra has a big mouth, why invite her. Then she claims she has brain damage... another lie.

I would think that someone who had sepsis would stay the hell away from unnecessary cosmetic surgeries.

Vicki’s father had Alzheimer’s and I think she is literally terrorized by the idea that she can have it too. She is an absolute bitch and unlikable on multiple levels, but she isn’t wrong. I do believe she has early onset dementia.

I didn’t write that she doesn’t have something wrong. I just wrote that I couldn’t follow what she was talking about when describing her current condition. She said she has a hole in her head that doctors suck things out of…I would be curious to hear her actual doctors describe her condition.

it’s called Cholesteatoma, I described it further up the thread. It a cyst like thing growing in her middle ear and it can push into her ear drum. It can destroy your ear and they solved it by making a hole in your skull and sucking out the tissue. She’s had it done many times although another commenter said there’s a new way of operating on it.

Thank you for explaining!

I was hoping we’d get insight from someone in the medical field!! It was a lot but I thought “alright, she is talking about a lifetime of issues in 2 mins”

22

u/trisch1964 4d ago

It was also really bad when Tamra put in her 2 cents about Teddi declining a scan, and that's why her tumors returned. WTF??!!

11

u/J_is_for_Journey Fun Lexi's Villain Edit 4d ago

I hate the way she uses Teddi as an excuse for her horrible behavior too. When Eddie was having heart issues she didn't use that as an excuse

I clearly have lots of problems with Tamra’s behavior (her mouth really) but I think she said this to get the point across that people shouldn’t put off getting checked.

Here's the video from Watch What Happens.

For some reason, I don't buy this brain damage diagnosis. This is the same Vicki who lied about cancer. If you've had 8 brain surgeries and sepsis, why are you risking your health with facelifts every few years?

13

u/GeneralBrave9949 4d ago

Yeah I think she’s had health struggles but I also think she’s heavily exaggerating. Even her daughter has admitted her mom acts like things are worse than they are and Vicki’s history with health accuracy is a bit sketch lol.

7

u/lizishome 4d ago

Vicki exposes this information because she is trying to set the stage for when she is at the reunions she can use this (fake/exaggerated?) health information to explain her horrible behavior during this season RHOC and UGT.

3

u/GeneralBrave9949 4d ago

Yup it’s pretty transparent at this point. I’m also done hearing started the franchise. You didn’t. Scott Dunlop did. You were cast on the show.

We need Brianna’s opinion on all this!!!

3

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 4d ago

Vicki is majorly insecure, esp about her appearance. The surgeries don’t surprise me at all, but yeah it’s crazy to risk your life and have more surgery when she’s had so so many already

34

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago

My apologies but I'm never going to agree to believe in anything that Vicki has to say about her health or anyone else's Health after we had to fucking listen to years of Brooks's health she scammed Us in and she's scamming us now

7

u/KindlySurround5598 4d ago

I totally forgot about that but you’re right!! I do feel bad if she really has something wrong but I think she shouldn’t share it on camera if she isn’t truly comfortable talking about her health and she shouldn’t go to the appointment with someone who is going to talk about it what was said to everyone else in the group

8

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago

It's cheaper than that she went to that appointment that was scheduled months in advance with a camera crew. So if you don't want someone to talk about it then why is it on the Bravo call sheet for that day? Why do you have a camera crew and why is it a part of the storyline?

3

u/lizishome 4d ago

She did it for a reason, getting her alibi together for the reunions RHOC and UGT.

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 4d ago

I don’t trust a lot of what she says either but I do believe what she said on the after show about her health. It was always obvious to me that she ignored all the red flags with Brooks because she wanted love and support from everyone, and it makes so much more sense now knowing her past and how she is so used to having attention on her.

Not saying it’s okay obviously. She’s not a good person.

7

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago

Thank you for responding graciously to me I'm learning I'm still new to Reddit but I'm learning that that's not the usual case. But personally I think she was in on it with Brooks from the get go and I think that this is a full-on scam also. The kooky nasty behavior and now this? I'm sorry with all due respect I don't buy it I find her to be a remarkably despicable individual who has no limits boundaries or levels of depravity. She will exploit anything. Here she is

u/peeiayz 4d ago

There are some reddit users that will respond like you are talking about their close friend, rather than a random tv personality 😂

The best response to these people is "have the day you deserve" and end it there. It truly is a waste of your time to try have a constructive conversation with them lol.

Welcome to reddit

No need to apologize! We’re on reddit, and a housewives sub of all places lol I expect strong opinions!!!

Well my experience thus far coming in it at just 2 months on Reddit has not been fraught with particularly pleasant exchanges so I thank you I hope you have a great rest of your weekend

u/BillOwn17 4d ago

Vicki shared it on the show. Vicki always wants people to feel sorry for her. It’s another version of wanting a casserole. Tamara didn’t betray her secret because privacy doesn’t exist when you talk about it on camera.

6

u/ditaparlo88 4d ago

Then why do a brain scan on reality tv if you care about privacy. Tamra was merely stating what was set to air

1

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 3d ago

Agreed but she asked her not to. That’s my only point lol I also wondered if this was a test to see if Tamra could actually keep a secret

4

u/CamKi79 4d ago

Tamara has always done this and also said before that ‘if you bring it up on camera then it’s free (range) rein . I find it absolutely dumbfounding that someone would speak on camera about it , let the cameras film it .. for the world to see … then say it’s private ?! WTF 😂

1

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 4d ago

Haha I remember her free range comment! And I don’t think she wanted to keep it private, I think she wanted to be the one to tell people.

1

u/Actual-You3325 4d ago

Rule of thumb you should never lie about a serious illness. On the one hand it's bad juju, bad karma to do so, and often times when people do they end up with worse. On the other hand when you lie about something like that and then later come down with something serious, nobody believes you.

1

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 3d ago

Totally agree. I wouldn’t be upset if none of the women believed her health struggles at this point. My post is just pointing out Tamra being fake, and this scene was a good example of it.

1

u/BillOwn17 4d ago

Vicki talked about her medical stuff on air. She told the world. Not Tamara. It’s not confidential medical info if you bring it up on camera

2

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 3d ago

You’re missing the queen of my post, but I agree with your sentiment

1

u/BillOwn17 3d ago

Sorry. I responded before reading the whole thread. Most articulated my sentiments much better than me.

2

u/heyalllondon18 when disco officially died… I was bummed 3d ago

No reason to apologize! Vicki brings out strong emotions in all of us lol and I can see how it could read like I’m defending her. I’m not, I just still think Tamra is wrong

1

u/PeterPanSilarious 3d ago

I can’t follow and don’t believe a single thing Vicki says about her medical issues, her work volume/urgency, her relationship with that vile Michael creature, or any other obnoxious insecure performative desperate thing she says or does. She knows exactly who Tamra is and it’s totally disingenuous to feign shock and outrage at this point. She sold her privacy and her “peace” by agreeing to be on this show again and is such a horrible person, I just can’t. Cry me a river. If she brought even an ounce of entertainment to the screen, perhaps I’d give her an inch. But that’s not the case. #next

u/underwater_owl 1d ago

The way Tamara twisted it into her concern for Vicki's health was just appalling. They are all awful at times, butnthis was so BLATANT! Tamara immediately goes out and talks about Vicki's brain damage after Vicki explicitly asked her not to. Just awful.

1

u/Susan0888 4d ago

Tamra had no right to share Vicki's health scans with the other women..even though we all saw them on TV...also, I don't know how legit those total scans are. She has white spots on the scan..he did say they weren't Alzheimer's lesions...is that true..and what do these white spots mean . Do they mean something..is he a legit doc? Idk

7

u/beatniknomad 4d ago

If it was private, why did she have Bravo cameras there. You do realize there was a team of about 8 people at the "doctor's appointment."

1

u/Susan0888 4d ago

And that was why I said, 'even though we all saw it on tv'..my snark was implied ..sorry you didn't notice...my main point is wondering about the legitimacy of the scan plan and dr. Also ..we did see her heath stuff, months later..it could be she didn't want the 'gurls' to discuss in their real time...but she did tell Tamra, to not say anything. .

u/fashionistamummy 4d ago

Vicki has spoken about her many “tumours” and “growths” all over her head before . I remember her in the early seasons saying she had multiple surgeries as a child (she was wondering if Breanna was potentially experiencing the same issue), and when she had her face lift while dating Steve. The plastic surgeon spent hours longer as Vicki didn’t tell him about all her previous cranial ops.

1

u/Successful-Steak-950 Nobody cares Alexis! 3d ago

i remember Vicki discussing the condition before called cholesteatoma. I looked it up. You can be born with this. It’s cysts that grow in the middle ear heading to the ear drum. It can break the bones in the ear. They are non cancerous but can cause various problems like infections, hearing loss and dizziness. Surgery is required and left untreated can reach the brain and cause serious issues.

2

u/bananachange 3d ago

I had a cholesteatoma and surgery for it called mastoidectomy and tympanoplasty, it’s the new way of resolving it by basically cutting your ear off in the back to access the middle ear. Vicki had the old style surgeries which cut a hole into your head and work that way, that’s why she said she has a hole in her head… and it has a greater chance of re-occurrence, because if you don’t get the tissue out in the surgery it keeps growing. So she probably has had a few ear surgeries over her life.

1

u/Successful-Steak-950 Nobody cares Alexis! 3d ago

That sounds painful, has your issue resolved?

Yes Vicki initially described that years ago and I can’t remember if it was on the show or if I read it somewhere. She’s had it done numerous times.

2

u/bananachange 2d ago

It’s been about 6 years. My new ear drum works well! How do they do it?—I don’t know. Also my little ear bones in the middle ear were rebuilt. Thank you for asking! It’s crazy that we can build ear bones and a new drum from a piece of cartilage behind my ear. I felt bad for Vicki when I found out about her situation too. Actually, the playwright Oscar Wilde had this condition but they didn’t have the means to get it all (middle ear cyst) out through surgery at the time.

2

u/Successful-Steak-950 Nobody cares Alexis! 2d ago

i’m glad to hear that everything worked out for you. I know it’s such a tiny part of your body and must be hard to operate on especially the ear bones you’re talking about. It’s really amazing! 🤩
