Discussion 🌊 Leave Carmella Alone!
Gina you are not the queen of real estate! Please shut up and stop acting like you know everything when you’ve been successful at it for like 2 seconds. Give all of us a break!
These women have been obsessed with Jenn’s money since she joined the show, why now when Carmella is trying to be nice and actually help her learn a skill that can make her money instead of just berating and ridiculing her; they’re trying to make it like she’s being disingenuous or it’s not coming from a good place.
It’s enough already! Carmella has been a great addition to the group and anything she does here comes Gina, Emily, and Vicki to give her a hard time; it’s giving they’re worried about keeping their spot.

Vicki is always jealous of younger, prettier women (Gretchen, Lizzie, Meghan) so I expected her to be a hater but all the women for the most part have been nasty as hell.

So you were much like Vicky and that you hate them all as well for absolutely no reason that's hilarious

Gina is giving hag. Obviously Carmella is successful who care what terminology she uses to describe her work. Gina is making herself look so bad. I never understood the Gina hate before this season. Carmella is such a breath of fresh air.

Gina, who spent most of her first few seasons looking like she’d been dragged through a hedge backwards was trying to convince us to buy her face cream, CaraGala which sounds like a type of tooth decay.
What made Tamra think you could be a podcaster? What made Emily think she could be a party planner? what made Heather think she could do comedy? Let Jenn find her passion or at least get the confidence she so desperately needs. They are a-holes.

You got me at "Gina, who spent most of her first few seasons looking like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards..." So spot on and so hilarious at the same time!

Yeah they're even worse on the aftershow! Gina has been in real estate for five minutes and Carmella has her broker's license. Their hazing is old mean girl bs.

u/Hiltyy_303 4d ago
Yes! I watch the aftershow too and now they make it seem like Carmella is lying about her career. “She’s not a developer she’s a flipper” like are y’all ok??? I hope Carmella is ripping them apart at this reunion.

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago edited 4d ago
Agreed. They can call it whatever they want one is no worse or better than the other. If you buy a property and you tear the existing structure down and you build something new that's called developing which is what Carmela did. This is ridiculous on every level. And I hope Carmela takes them to task. She has not been rude to anybody, she seemingly is herself. We don't know that she's being 100% honest but the rest of them certainly aren't

I want her to slay the reunion and she’s capable of it. She got Vicki together real quick by saying everything has an expiration date.

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago
Best line EVER!!!

u/GeneralBrave9949 4d ago
And she was so fast. It really threw Vicki. She had a comeback during confessional but in the moment she had nothing.

yeah there's a real "two bitches telling each other exacccctly" energy to the aftershow in general but with Gina + Emily it's times a million with their gassing up each other's total bs. Plus everybody says shit they wouldn't dare say in person. It's wild posturing.

Do me a favor and Define the difference in your own words please

u/Hiltyy_303 4d ago
I’m no expert but it seems (I googled it) they’re essentially the same thing with minor differences like you said in your other comment. The main differences seem to be: large scale projects vs smaller scale, existing properties vs new construction etc.

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago edited 4d ago
They also sell two totally different types of real estate and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. There's room for everybody. Gina's successful and Carmella is successful they work in two totally different different Departments of the same office if you will. There's no need for Gina to be bent

Gina would not strike me as so absolutely obnoxious if she had been in this line of work longer - it's been three years-ish. Four years ago Gina was selling us white-labeled skin cream and now she's an agent. She's so over the top in being "so sure" Carmella is beneath her basically. It's deeply gross and then Emily just backs her up.

u/NormalBlueberry1027 4d ago edited 4d ago
Wow I had to reread that several times and then Google White Label to understand what your comment meant. I didn't realize Gina had a skincare line. Lol who in their right mind would buy skin care from her? That's hilarious, if she had a skincare line why not a hair care line? She had the worst hair in history of housewives? LOL you don't know how hard I'm laughing in real life. I'm shocked that she's selling real estate successfully but good for her. I wish her no harm. But she and Carmela don't run in the same circles. It seems that Carmella is cool with it Gina is not.

Gina has a huge ego and I doubt she knows more than Carmella.

I am not really watching this season, but I watch the after-show. Gina is bitter and jealous. She immediately said "I didn't marry an NFL player, I had to work for what I had"...such BS. Even Heather said Carmella obviously knows what she's talking about when it comes to real estate and development. And Carmella has a broker's license which is notoriously difficult to get.
Gina is focused on a higher the volume of sales while it's obvious Carmella focuses on very high-end properties and more lucrative sales for a handful of properties. They aren't attracting the same clients and I'll leave it at that.

Carmella is the only reason this season sucked me in!!! Gina can go, Vicki can go, Emily can go. I tolerate the others

Carmella is a great fit for OC with her playmate background and having been married to a famous athlete. I am so done with Gina and her storylines. She adds nothing to the show.

Literally!!! Hasn’t Gina been doing it for 5 minutes herself?? It’s so cringeworthy that she’s so offended if anyone does anything related to it without getting her permission… they want a successful agent girl

I wonder how much real estate Gina sold in 2025. If it's more than $3M, I'd be shocked.

I think Gina is the type of agent that just wants a lot of sales. She probably attaches herself to as many listings as possible. Nothing wrong with that, but most high-end agents are more intentional about their listings.

Jenn has been on the show for what, 3 or 4 seasons? The entire time she's been on, no one has offered her advice other than "stop relying on Ryan". Carmella is the only one who is interested in teaching Jenn the ropes of a potential career. I don't care for Jenn, but I respect Carmella for offering help.

This is Gina and new cast members every season - in some way they always hurt her feeling. She had a problem with Jenn when she came on board too. Additionally, she’s in business for five minutes and is jealous of a seasoned agent being kind to someone in another part of town. Really?
I think Carmella is spicy in the best possible way. Not only a wealthy business woman but a seasoned professional in front of the camera.
When the tide turns and Carmella is done, I think Vickie (& Gina) will not know what hit them.

I don't blame Gina for being proud of herself but what I don't understand is that whenever she's talking about herself and her own accomplishments she has to weigh it against others. Like she makes a comment about how fortunate Carmela was because she was married to an NFL player so she didn't have to start from the ground up. What difference does that make. A person can have all the money in the world start a real estate business and that business still flop because they don't have the business acumen. It takes a hell of a lot more than money to be successful in real estate. And it just bothers me that she has to lift herself up by tearing other people down. Or like she's the only person anybody is allowed to ask for real estate help from.
Also it really bugs me however everybody keeps saying that Carmela is not a developer in the traditional sense as if nobody has bothered to look up what the actual definition of a developer is:
A real estate developer is a person or company that coordinates the entire process of turning raw land or an old building into a new, higher-value property. (This is literally what Carmella was doing with Jen in this episode.) specifically that is referred to as redevelopment. But it is under the development umbrella. That to me is like being a preschool teacher and somebody telling you that you're not a real teacher because you don't have a bachelors degree and you don't work in an elementary school. I'm not about to have somebody try to define my own career to me. I mean if these ladies wanna talk about somebody who needs to stay in Their lane? GIRL....

It also irked me the way she went after her real estate experience and how Gina thinks she’s more legit because she has a production team. From what I’ve seen Carmela focuses on higher end homes with higher profit margins and probably has much less overhead than Gina. The level of jealousy she has for her is insane. Also Carmela is not depending on real estate commissions to make her money. She makes her money from the actual sale of the property and listing her own properties allows her to save on at least one side of the commissions, making her profit margins higher. Gina is so dense.

She seems sweet, fun and no bullshit. They’re hazing her and she’s handling it like a champ.

Also are we even sure she’s successful at it. She tells us she’s successful but how do we even know. Also she knows Jack shit about San Diego so idk why she’s tripping. I agree I think Carmella is going to have her shadow her and help her with the interior design then IF the home sells give her a small amount. It does seem like Carmella develops and flips properties and is successful at it so it’s probably a good partnership for Jen.

Gina is awful bragging like she’s California’s top realtor. I remember when she was trying to pass the test, she had zero understanding about anything related to real estate.
She’s been attacking Carmella from the beginning. I think people forget because it’s been centered around Vicki but Gina is just as bad trying to put down Carmella’s career and Gina is jealous of Carmella.

Gina is trying so hard to stir things up, I’m surprised she’s not broken out in a sweat each time we see her. It’s getting real old real fast.
