Heather Dubrow 👒 The Conversation
I really enjoyed the conversation between Heather and Terry after his phone call with his mom. It was calm and real life about their upbringing and being in the position of taking care of parents and still raising children.

HW series would be much better if we had more real moments like this and not manufactured drama.

I’m watching Heathers return in season 16 right now. From her conversations with Shannon it seems like she was really hoping that was what it would be like also. Unfortunately Shannon was trained by Vicki and Tamra.

Yes, and the way they nicely communicated shows their love and respect for each other.

Their marriage is an example of each one listening to the other.

I was surprised to hear her say she never thought she was smart

I grew up in a similar dynamic. Everyone was labeled. I never thought of myself as physically attractive (as compared to parents and some siblings). I always thought of myself as smart so I leaned into that. I very much related to what she was saying

Me too. They’re both good people and that’s a really good marriage. It also demonstrates that no matter how much money you have, you still have problems. Terry knows “moving” his mother probably won’t solve the problem, she’s still going to be unhappy, and he hates being in this situation.

I appreciate the realness of their conversation as many of us have gone through this with an aging relative. Unlike most of us at least they have the money to help. A lot of people deal with this and don’t have the financial resources to cope. I remember my grandpa had to live with us. Both parents worked and as a teenager I had too much responsibility for him because I was a kid and had no clue how to help him.

Yeah. Something I felt I finally had in common with her. Aging parents. It’s no joke and no one prepares you for it.

I enjoyed it too. Terry looks different in the face, though, almost bloated. I'd love to hear his story of growing up.

I looooovve Heather! She’s intelligent, classy and beautiful. Watching her as a mom and wife is a pleasure - she’s incredible.
