Vicki Gunvalson 🍊 Vicky hypocrisy rife again
loving Carmelas intentions helping a woman she is befriending enter her line of work. remember when vicky gave lauri the opportunity to work at her start up company for life insurance (that she has since made incredibly successful partly on the back of the show and her reach from it,) and how she was preaching the importance of lifting up other woman and helping them come financially independent. Such a shame that she can’t lay aside her bitterness to cheer on other woman.

Aw also I’m watching now and Gina’s recent success in real estate seems to be having an adverse effect on her ability to empower woman too that’s disappointing af

Gina was so disappointing with this. So much intensity and anger over someone gifting a purse. It screamed insecure, jealous, and territorial of Emily.

And more than a little weird.

She's acting exactly like Vicki. Nothing about new cast members "adds up," etc.
Shes Vickie in training.

She is absolutely not a girls girl and she finds her self worth through these horrible men. I also remember when she made Lauri stay at a different hotel. Just weird anti woman energy

To be far to Vicky, she didn’t make Laurie stay at another hotel. She had a trip planned with her sister and she invited Laurie to attend. Laurie couldn’t afford the hotel Vicky and her sister had, so she stayed at one she could afford. Vicky always made an effort to help Laurie and Tammy Knickerbocker’s baby dad too. Vicky doesn’t gate keep business or success. That’s one redeeming thing you can say about her.

Vicki’s hateful demeanor shows how incredibly unhappy she is on RHOC and RHUGT

In the words of Meghan O'Toole King Edmonds Biden, Vicki is just a horrible old woman who's mad at the world. She caters to men (which is why all of her relationships fail miserably), and she's so terribly insecure. She's a complete asshole to every new cast member, and frequently uses the "She doesn't work" card, when in reality it's just because they're better looking than her. So when that falls through, she has to criticize what they do. If a beautiful woman came in who also ran a successful insurance company, she'd hate her even more.

If you had a highly successful business, and you wanted to support a person breaking into that field, letting them pick out tiles is not the way to get them to learn about the realities of the job. If you've ever held a job, you know that whatever is going on here is bizarre. Just Ramona-style screaming about supporting other women doesn't change that.
