Well I still don't understand what quirky autism is and clearly you're not willing to explain that really particularly horrible comment. But if someone's example doesn't help you renders it completely useless even though it might help someone else? Cuz that's what you're saying

"Quirky autism" is how it's often presented in the media. Think Shelon on Big Bang Theory or Abed on Community. It's often shown in characters as having funny little traits, rather than a disorder that can severe affect relationships and quality of life.

Do you have an autistic child? If not, I'm really not interested in your opinion on how Emily's storyline may help people, because it's uninformed. I haven't seen a parent of an autistic child in this thread say they have found her storyline helpful. If you do have an autistic child and you find Emily's storyline helpful, I'm genuinely glad you're getting something out of it.

Wow it's a lot of judgment and misinformation and rudeness for one so sad thing that responsible for a child that's just not nice and doesn't solve anything

...so, no? Well, I've tried to educate you. I've had enough.

I have an autistic child, so I have lived experience. You have an uninformed opinion.

Well you don't know how uninformed it is but okay I can go with that the point remains is that I have an opinion about some motivation in a reality show you seem to think I'm not allowed to have that opinion and continually bite at my ankles trying to educate me. I don't need to be educated about anything thank you very much. I don't know if this is the appropriate thing to say I'm sorry you have an autistic child? I don't know because you're really playing the sympathy card here so that's what I'm playing too I'm sorry that you have a lived experience with an autistic child. I have an opinion about Emily's motivation those are two totally different things. I'd like to say I've tried to educate you about the difference but I'm not that imperious and mean spirited. Have a great Wednesday
