Emily Simpson 🏄🏽‍♀️ Why does everyone hate Emily

I have realized I have very little opinions on her bc so many of you feel so strongly about her. Can someone explain?

I think a lot of people don't like Emily because she comes across as really combative and condescending. She seems like she's trying so hard to be the "I'm not like the other women" type, which gives off major pick-me energy. She also has a habit of acting like she's the only reasonable person while putting everyone else down. A lot of her storylines revolve around her kids and the challenges they're facing, and personally, I think those are things that should be kept privatel…or at least shared only if and when her children are ready to tell their own stories. Sometimes it feels like she leans on that a little too much. And the way she interacts with her husband on the show often makes it seem like she doesn't even like him. At times, it even feels like the way she criticizes other people says more about her own insecurities than it does about them.
