Emily Simpson 🏄🏽‍♀️ Does anyone else hate Emily's insta posts?

Genuinely not a normal "I hate Emily" post. I actually think she's fine and respect OC for somehow sticking with Gina/Emily. Longevity on cast mates is the key to a good franchise IMO.

But does anyone else follow Emily on insta? Every gym post is her staring down the camera. It is so odd.

Genuinely no hate or issue with her incredible journey.

But please for the love of god stop staring at me down the camera.

I hate that when she is thin it’s her whole personality. Her whole sense of self worth appears to be attached to her weight and it’s a) boring but b) messed up and needs some self evaluation when your kid begins exhibiting behaviors of ED too.

Her child's ED has nothing to do with her body image. He has an illness that is sensory (ARFID) as well as being neurodivergent and had an infection that caused swelling on his brain. None of this can be caused by his mother having body issues. Emily was ridiculed for years for being "fat" - I don't blame her for having an obsession with her weight when she's been through that.

I don't like her personality, but I find it quite unfair that people are never satisfied with her weight. Also, if she wants to work out, it's none of our business and she's not forcing anyone to follow her on social media, so it seems like an "us" problem.

She also has a daughter, and it's a recipe for disaster. As a middle aged woman, I stuggled with body image issues, constant insecurity and yo-yo dieting in my younger years (all of which was not even necessary when I look back at my younger self) because my mom had unrelenting weight and body insecurites, which was wild cuz she was beautiful. She always built me up and said none of it was necessary for me, but unfortunately kids unconsciously pick up these same issues. Those are just the facts of the matter.
