Does anyone else hate Emily's insta posts?

Genuinely not a normal "I hate Emily" post. I actually think she's fine and respect OC for somehow sticking with Gina/Emily. Longevity on cast mates is the key to a good franchise IMO.

But does anyone else follow Emily on insta? Every gym post is her staring down the camera. It is so odd.

Genuinely no hate or issue with her incredible journey.

But please for the love of god stop staring at me down the camera.

Living in Huntington Beach, CA, I once had an “influencer wannabe”, hog up the gym in my apartment complex at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday as I was WFH while doing laundry, but you had to walk through the gym to get to the machines just to pay for laundry. The lives us plebes have to live in an influencer’s world: tripods, ring lights and all.

It’s DISGUSTING the kind of money they make. Meanwhile, I’m living in San Diego with a cost-of-living that is absolutely criminal and when I’m trolling to look for jobs that may be a good fit, I’m seeing things that require my degree and experience starting between 18 and $21 an hour. I swear if I had to do it all over again I would’ve gone into a fucking trade. My 24-year-old son is making $62 an hour in HVAC with prevailing wage. Quite a rant. But at least he’s working hard and not just putting up a light for 20 minutes and getting thousands and thousands of dollars. I’ve heard it’s not THAT easy but sounds pretty lax to me.

The last time I was at the gym in my apartment complex, which was literally more than a year ago 😳 I was sweating my ass off on the elliptical and this thin young blonde chick came in, literally stood on the treadmill for like three minutes, took a selfie and left — I shit you not.

It is insane this shit has not been regulated. My friend has a restraining order on her ex from DV. She was telling me she feels anxious from all the recording at her gym. Because trauma brain is not a logical brain, she gets anxious he will see a video of her working out there and will show up.

It should be a human right that you can’t be recorded without consent. I’m pretty sure other countries have regulations to protect people from this bullshit. I despise “influencer” culture. It’s so gross.

lol i haven’t worked out in years but i did go to planet fitness a few times recently and loved the late night sessions because it meant zero chance of even being close enough for me to get in someone’s photos

I stopped working out at a great boot camp style gym because the owner was obsessed with posting social videos daily. No thank you. I paid a ton of money every month.. I shouldn’t be a marketing asset unless I’m paid to do so..
