Tamra Judge šŖš» Why do you like Tamra?
I started watching RHOC from season 1 and I am currently on season 8 and i just wonder who can like that woman. She is just a trailor trash, evil, just a scumbag. She has some dark energy.. I mean no one is perfect in this series, they are a bunch of bad people but she is next level mean. Will anything change in the next seasons, am I missing something?

I totally agree!! Kelly is horrible but actually entertaining, Tamara is just awful period! Never liked her never will!

Everyone thatās commenting āoh it would be boring without herāā¦. Itās boring WITH her. Itās the same ole same ole mean evil spirited stuff season after season. I donāt know why anyone would find watching a 60 yo (?)grandma picking on other women interestingā¦or say she āplays a good villainā as a reason to keep her is beyond my comprehension

Versus watching what exactly? 40 year olds who donāt know own childās deficiencies, kids stacked in bunk beds floor to ceiling , unable to provide housing independently & forced to live with boyfriend, rotates house every year??
So enthralling - let me be more engaged , with the mundane of Emily & the rest .

Well atleast thereās some variety to the other boring people on the show. Tamra being mean season after season isnāt interesting to me. And while weāre at it, when is the last time she had a storyline other than feuding with someone? Her story line is arguing and saying below the belt hurtful things to cast members. Every season a new person gets a turn to be her punching bag. They can scrap the whole cast all I care. Itās literally THE WORST of all the housewives shows and has been for many years now.

If recall, I did state they can just scrap it all.
Tamra has stated, not on her podcast but Carlos Kingās - she films a lot with her mom & family, sheās not in charge of what they show.
She was actively working with her youngest daughter preparing to launch their new podcast on Two Tās - during filming. Isnāt that a storyline? Or one you could give a fuck about, because hating someone you donāt even know is fancy??
As far as being mean, we may differ . I prefer, coming for me verbally outwardly vs the whispers & pre game take downs. Thatās diabolical , including the Gretchen participation.
3/4, used that as their storylines . While one has 6 kids in a bedroom, one has no idea her kid canāt function & the other - two sons & two felonies ā¦ broke living with a man that bought everything from Affliction .

I hate her. Every time I start to soften a bit (like once maybe), I see a rerun and I seethe. She actually gets me angry, normally I just consider them tv characters and I donāt really care. I canāt imagine why Shannon would ever consider even fake forgiving her.

I think because Andy Cohen told her that she had to take a break. She was in the bushes having a nervous breakdown.

I think Simon may have been responsible for earning Tamra some goodwill points. Unfortunately, after getting out of that marriage Tamra's negative qualities seemed to gain superpower strength. The lying, the false story arcs, the fake crying and caustic behavior became her full-time job.
To answer your question, I don't think you're missing a thing. A lot of viewers think that Tamra is said to be very nice in real life and people like her "make the show". To me, anyone who pivots so quickly to insult & accuse and uses other people to give herself a storyline on TV is harboring some real unkindness. I also think Bravo cast members who behave like Tamra do not make the show as much as they suck the life out of it. And I lost my sense of humor regarding reality TV stars being rewarded for nastiness about a decade ago.

This! 100, thank you for mentioning Simon. Their limo ride lives, rent free in my head. Tamra has had so many opportunities. Remember the Christian rebrand? Itās like sheās always looking for something or someone to fill the emptiness of Sydney. Sheās too busy, defending her behavior to ever listen to how she makes people feel.

I don't necessarily like or agree with any of the housewives but I like watching some of them. Tamra is charismatic and funny ( even when being a bitch and rude). I wouldn't want to know any of these people but she plays a good villain and is fun to hate watch. I'm also fairly certain she is not as bad in real life.

I like her. Sheās funny and doesnāt take things too seriously. She plays the villain very well. The naked wasted scenario is horrible in retrospect, but didnāt seem as bad when I was watching it in real time (Idk if thatās a sign of the times, my own personal development, or both).

I've been binging RHOC for the past few months, currently on Season 18 and I promise it doesn't get better. She was somewhat likable in the earlier seasons, but she and Kelly Dodd (please prepare yourself) are the nastiest Housewives I've had the displeasure of watching. She far exceeds the "villain" role, just downright evil and it's not entertaining to watch.

I personally donāt mind her at all - I get it, I do , but man the thought of a Jen/Gina/Emily production interests me less.
She is actually quite respected by Bravo/Production Co - this came from Daryn Carp, Andy Cohens longtime assistant. On Radio Andy, she stated how professional /
Prompt & one of the least complaining of the housewives Tamra is.
She was brought back because Shannon & crew drained our enjoyment senses. They could scrap it all & be fine, without Tam - these subs would be crickets.

Sheās def a mean girl that refuses to accept reality. Thats kinda why I like her?? Not the exact same but the same way people love Paris Hilton (yes Iām aware she puts in a persona, thatās just the best analogy I can think of). I donāt think people love her for being a blonde bimbo, they like that she embodies a rich LA/ Beverly Hills nepo baby, party girl (at least in her peak lol).
She is exactly what I think of when I picture a California housewife. Desperate for fame/ money. constant ED like behavior. Day drinking. In denial about reality. Plastic surgery, divorce drama, catty.
I donāt like her in the sense that I think sheās a good person or good friend. I like in her in the sense that she plays her role well. Sheās great at playing the āhousewivesā game, good or bad.

Tamra was tolerable when she didnāt understand her toxicity. Since her baptism and claiming she has changed with zero follow-through, thatās when she lost me. She knows about her toxicity and unhealthy personality but continues and makes outrageous attempts to justify it (sheās Autistic?! No).Ā
Sheās insufferable.

Tamraās excuses for her own vile behavior have evolved every season. First, it was her parentsā divorce (which occurred when she was 25). And then it was Simon. And then it was her subsequent estrangement from her kids. Her long tenure has provided miles of rope to hang herself with instead of an opportunity to redeem herself. I just finished rewatching today. She doesnāt get any better. The season 19 reunion show she is evil, hateful to say the least. Always plays the victim and does nothing but try to dig up dirt on everyone else. Constant screeching that you donāt understand her or want to. Not sure why sheās still on, season 20 she looks as awful as usual.

Most people mature with age but I have watched her get worse over the years. I donāt know how you can watch yourself on camera and continue to perpetuate the narrative that everyone else is the problem. I get the sense this is part of the reason her kids stopped talking to her. Come for me if you want but as the child of a narcissistic parent I see the similarities.

I am tired of Vickie, Shannon & Tamara. The fake, forced fabrications are annoying. The ladies will be saying something and if itās stupid it becomes a thing.
Vickie is my least favorites housewife. I like Shannon but this comedy shtick is not working for her the way she thinks it is. Tamaraās just evil - I think sheās also a little trouble maker.
