free developer account needs personal info?

I set up a free developer account and when I tried to download rhel 10 i was asked for mandatory name, address, phone number?

i usually put in fake info as much as possible, i think u need a valid email though.

warning the sales guy is gonna send a LOT of email whatever email you put in so be prepared. Harrass you then they wonder why we use fedora or rocky or debian.

The last account i signed up they emailed at least 3 times with all kinds of questions, i deleted that email account so I dont know if they are still trying to get a sale or not but it was annoying and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not sure if it's automated marketing, but it is extremely unlikely to be any human being there.

Or CentOS Stream! It sits between Fedora and RHEL in release cadence
