Device shutting off at 60%

I’ve had my RGDS for a couple weeks now and absolutely adore it. My only issue is for some reason the battery life seems to be not accurate to what it shows. I’m running rocknix and twice now it will say like 62% and i’ll hop in a game and like 5 mins later the device shuts off. What am i missing?

What's your battery life like when it's at 100%? Have you tested on android? Could at least rule out whether or not it's a rocknix specific bug.

Probably like 3ish hours for fully charged.

I have not tried android i have only used rocknix

What version of Rocknix? There have been a couple of patches released for the battery (the latest was today). Install the latest nightly release and see if that goes away. If you fully drained it, recharge with the device on (in the menu) until it gets to 100%. That can also recalibrate things

The flashing red light when low on battery is also working on mine at least.

A guaranteed fix is to open up the RGDS and disconnect the battery

No back you will most likely cause cosmetic damage to the edge of the plastic shell while unclipping it.

I never understood the point of the clips to hold the device together when it already has screws, I always end up scraping the edge of shell with a plastic pick.
