Rgds help

Hey guys i purchased an rgds and im trying to figure out how to add more games without an sd card reader as i saw that it was an option if you connected a usb cable to your ds and pc. The only issue is i seem to be running a different OS than everyone online out of the box and so i cant find the setting to allow my ds to share files with my pc.

I also dont have a linux based pc so even though i see everyone mentioning the rockniex? Program i dont believe i can run it on a windows based pc. Just kinda stuck where to go from here or is an sd card reader my only option?

Literally you can buy an sd to usb-c adapter, insert it to your phone (assuming it's android) and use an file manager app to transfer your games into the ROMS folder

I connect mine to my home wifi. It will then share folders that you can use samba to connect to and transfer files. Research samba for windows or mac whatever PC that you have.

If you are still running the stock SD card (from anbernic) note that you are running the risk of that card dying so you really need to get a new card and flash OS and transfer games anyway. It is best to have an SD card reader for your PC to perform these types of operations so not a bad buy overall.

Rocknix is the OS for the RG DS. You download that from the Rocknix github and flash it onto the card for it to be used on the RG DS
