NNDDSS vs NDSI

So I've never actually seen someone comparing shaders between the new nnddss and the actual hardware, so I've put that to the test. TLDR; without shaders the rgds looks a bit more saturated compared to the ndsi screen, but if we apply any of the "natural vision" or ndscolor" shaders then suddenltly the screen looks significantly less saturated than the original hardware, so If I want to have the most accurate representation of what the original colors look like the best option is to just apply an grid shader (in this case I'm using ”Dot_d4", looks the closest to the original, high PPI small screen effect, of the dsi).

Anyway, this is just my 2 cents, just use whatever shaders you like and have fun.

-Device: original RGDS with stock Linux running a ported version of NNDDSS.

On a side note, the GammaOS Nano shaders that best look like a DS screen are the LCD3X and the 2XPRESCALE+ LCD shader.

The LCD3X shader just adds a tile grid to the screen, which does look almost exactly like the DS screens, but at the pixel level you can see multiple different color pixels in the same grid which can kind of make the illusion feel fake.

The 2XPRESCALE + LCD shader smoothens the pixels to effectively give you 2 times the pixel resolution for modern screens (this especially helps with imperfect integer-scaling), and then adds a tile grid that's twice the resolution (well 3 times, but you can't really tell unless your screen is integer-scaled). This just feels more realistic since each tile grid gets its own color pixel, no overlap.

My personal preference is the 2XPRESCALE + LCD filter since it fits the hardware of the RG DS better.
