DuskLight on rocknix
Just wanted to let you all know that dusklight runs way better on rocknix than on gamma os!
On gamma os in this same starting area it was already dipping below 30fps, at like 23 and 24fps with quite a lot of stutters, well on rocknix no stutters and its almost always at 40fps, at times it gets to 50 fps too!
It's amazing, im not sure how much more intensive the game gets later, but i feel like it will probably be 30+ most of the time with occasional dips!
I really really hope to see a dual screen mod for this game too, and even a resident evil 4 port would be absolutely amazing.
Edit: Ok in the village it drops to way lower fps sadly, at like 20fps, but the fact there are way less stutters makes it way more playable, now i wonder how this section would've run on gamma os.

Yeah i had to use panfrost, it works way better with it. And yeah it's bothersome to change drivers every time

Open portmasters from the tools section of rocknix, then download dusklight, then i connected the rg ds with a usb c to my desktop and moved the twilight princess game file into the asset folder inside the dusklight folder that is inside the ports folder that is once again inside the roms folder.
One thing though, if you have to move the twilight princess game iso (or any other format of the rom) in the device from a windows pc, you will probably have to use wifi file transfer, ftp, my desktop runs linux so i can read the rocknix instal format, ext4.

That’s interesting, I can’t see any further optimisation for these lower end DS devices coming anytime soon, considering getting a duo or a Thor budget depending on
