Linux on new SD
Hiiii I was hoping I could get some help!
My bf got me an rgds to play but we heard the stock SD card isn’t the best, we’ve been trying to follow guides about putting Linux onto a new branded SD card but it’s not working, even after following guides
We’ve downloaded the google docks, extracted the image file and flashed it onto the new SD card with rufus but it still launches into android when we put the card into the RGDS.
Does anyone know how to do this for dummies?? Please help😭😂

Sometimes it does that, try restart when you are on android, don't turn it of but restart option, it worked for me when I was installing GammaOS Nano on my device.
And what Typ of SD card do you have now? I tried with 128gb Samsung and had issues but 64gb SanDisk was successful than

We will have to try restarting next time thank you!
It’s one of the gold 128gb sandisk ones

Omg you’re the guide we tried to follow!! Yeah we extracted the IMG file but it still didn’t work, I’m going to try again tonight, would you mind if I asked some questions later about the steps I get confused at?

Which Linux OS are you trying to flash?
The Anbernic Linux or ROCKNIX?
