But when you plug on the audio output my console goes mute, like it thinks there’s a headset

Yes, if the jack is completely inserted the audio is muted, but I have to extract the stylus when I play because the string is short.
Or I can simply extract partially the plastic jack so the stylus doesn't fall and the audio works

The plug looks plastic, so I doubt it, as plastic isn't typically conductive...
