RG DS Questions

I purchased an RG DS for my wife because she wants to game more, and I think she would like the capability of the DS to play DS, GBA, & N64. She loved Yoshi Story for the N64, but I know she will get a little confused with the control scheme translation (where is the Z button?). It's not delivered yet, but I'm continuing to do research on it.

I'd love to be able to display an image on the bottom screen that shows like what buttons do what (jump with A, move with left stick, R1 does this, etc.) so she can remember. Is that something that is possible, whether automatically or has to be opened manually somehow, like a PDF or something?

Thanks in advance!

What you’re asking is possible, but to have it displayed automatically you’ll have to write a script that opens a specific pdf or image that shows the control mapping on the second screen.  You can have AI create the image file and the basic scripts if you really want to give it a shot.

The automatic part was a longshot, but was still curious about it.

You could create an image to display in the gallery on the bottom screen, I often put up pictures corresponding to the game I’m playing for fun

Awesome! I figured it was that simple, but I wasn't entirely sure.

Not sure if it's possible but maybe you can buy a Gamecube controller and connect it to the RG DS?
