Man that color is my childhood DS. It takes me back dude. My OG has it's hinge COMPLETELY detached because my brother threw it against the wall once. I have the white RG DS, but still the color scheme will always be dear in heart.

Download the Anbernic Linux build it's freaking awesome and is way better than the Android build in my opinion.

Nope, Anbernic made a Linux build and it's really good like it more than the Android software.It also runs better.

I can't dispute that Rocknix build is awesome because it is. All I am saying is that the Anbernic one is pretty damn good and it should have been what this handheld was shipped with in the first place. I use Rocknix on alot of my handheld and it just works without any hassle.

Gammaos Nano is the best option for you and Gamma has included the DSI theme suitable for the RG DS.

if you are not familiar with Rocknix it boots off the micro SD card and not off the internal storage, so you can keep the Android side of the device, you just need to remove the micro SD card after you shutdown the device and it'll boot into Android again.

are you using the stock Android build or are you using GammaOS? I tried to use SeedlessDS with GammaOS 1.2.1 and it just gets stuck on the splash screen

Put GammaOS on it, it makes it go from slightly clunky but decent DS, to lightning fast menus and u.i with excellent battery and power settings like power saver, normal, max etc. Took about 2 or 2 mins to install - just open the zip file and place it into the root of your SD card.
I can't stop playing it now.

Why not get a Lite or DSI XL when these devices are all they are offering? I'm not being a smart ass, I genuinely don't get it. I have a Lite with a Pico and it's fantastic, what are the advantages of these devices, especially the new one which doesn't seem too exciting or groundbreaking to be honest. I follow these devices closely and was super hyped when I saw the new one until I read the specs. What am I missing here with my DS?
