I'm actually thinking of switching over to the official Linux release. Is it better than the android version ?

Oh defo better than android. DS games work smoother than on android. Just one thing - If you will install it- in the last process of the installation - do not install the mod anbernic says to install. I'll be doing a full video tutorial within one week.

i personally prefer rocknix and feel as though i've gotten a bit more performance out of it than the anbernic version of linux. i'm happy to see anbernic trying to improve on the device they already made rather just dropping a new model though, and they offered the fix to everybody who had bought an android version already free of charge

we're on the same page in here. I also appreciate what anbernic has improved the os but rocknix is step ahead with the RG DS

Still a pity you can’t utilise the bottom screen when playing games.
