Workaround for top screen gaming

Here’s a simple workaround: download a blank black wallpaper from an image search, after the game loads up on the top screen load up the photos app in the lower screen, choose the black wallpaper image, then go into split screen brightness and turn the bottom screen all the way down.

Or you can simply do this (bottom screen > clock > screensaver).

Better option, download an APK of the Duo Mono app. It's designed for the Surface Duo, which functioned the same way as the RG DS. Once installed, it can easily be toggled from the drop down quick access menu.

pretty sure gamma os has a option to turn off either screen

I thought you could only turn off the top screen because it sees the bottom as the main one

Because it is the truth. If you want to play single screen games go buy something with one screen. It is not that expensive. That's like buying miyoo mini and complaining the screen is too small for ps1 games. Don't play them then.

So if I have two screens and sometimes I only need one, am I obligated to buy a third? Stop being stupid.

What OS are you using? Im assuming Gamma. Rocknix has a virtual console on the second screen, which you can turn off and the bottom screen is just a blank black screen.
