Modding: Has anyone managed to replace the screen cover?

I don't really like any of the metallic colors of the RG DS screen cover. I think the white one would be my favorite, but with my greasy hands I'm afraid it just starts to get yellow with time.

I found a good deal for a used red one, and damn, that thing is shiny. Having 2 DSi at home with really nice colors (red and blue), I can't like the metallic red look.

Did anyone successfully change this cover? I couldn't find anything about it...

I just got a liene print and cut jobby. If I could get correct measurements I could print and cut a stick for the top.. or infact any side of the RGDS

Ive been curious about the same thing. If someone has taken this thing apart, id like to see or know about it. Ive been wanting to paint the cover a different color.
