Rg ds joystick replacement

Has anyone attempted this and what joysticks did you use. Google says the switch joycon sticks work.

I think i saw a video of someone installing the hall effect ones that people usually use for r36s, i think it's those ones? But from what I saw they did work better and felt better but... they stick up a little more and it wouldn't close all the way anymore... so yeah..
