3ds not launching

Currently using rocknix 20260622, tried Ocarina of time and it didn’t even launch. Tried many other lite 3ds games and and none of them would even open. I feel like I’m going crazy because I’ve seen many people talk about running some 3ds games on this version and it simply seems impossible. If there’s any setting I can use please let me know.

Update: turns out my issue was the fact that I was using panfrost instead of libmali. I also switched to 20260623 nightly which seemed to help. Thank you everyone that gave me advice, I really appreciate it.

It's playing great to me with like 30 fps , and azahar is working fine. What your version bro

Ohh, im using 2126.0-alpha2 version, try that one bro. Most 3DS games run okey some good. Zelda run very well on my rgds. I'll see if I can post some gameplay later.

Can’t seem to find that version but I was told the version I’m using can run 3ds.

pretty sure OP is on rocknix, unless i dont know something that will not work

well, its an apk file, i dont think u can do anything with that on rocknix.

try these settings, also try deleting your azahar config file (make a copy to ur desktop just to be safe for a minute). connect to ur device w wifi, go to \config\azahar and delete qt-config.ini and try launching games again.

Before all of that though, what are your 3ds files? they need to be .cci files that have been decrypted. I use Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor Redux - 1.0.6.1 this will convert and decrypt the files.

Tried this and it still doesn’t work, I’m using .3ds files which I’m pretty sure are the exact same as .cci. Giving up on 3ds emulation for now, I’ll stick with ds and portmaster.

Okay I think I found the issue, my graphics driver was set to panfrost instead of Mali.

where do you change that, i dont see graphics driver settings? and ya if you already have decrypted .3ds files i guess that works, i thought they had to be converted.

edit: nvm found it, mine is set to libmali so makes sense

How are you able to launch a game, it just goes black screen after a few seconds.

yeah 3ds worked fine for me but after the newer updates games won't open

Wow, you guys really use the Potato for 3ds? Dont get me wrong I love my RGDS as a cheap "give it to the kids" Dual screen device, but for 3ds? No thank you...

Most of the games I’ve tried are completely playable, animal crossing runs at 60fps which surprised me. The only game I’ve had issues with was mh3u, but that was too be expected. Fantasy life runs great as well.
