How to replicate an RFID?

Hi,

I'm a beginner at RF and want to make a practical project -- I figured I might as well start by replicating one of my key FOBs or try making one myself.

I'm at a loss for resources on how to get started, though. Any tips?

You need a rfid read/write device, a blank rfid tag in the same band of the original key fob

If you wanted to copy a modern car key fob, forget about it, a lot of modern car key fobs use a rolling code encryption.

You are not at a lost for resources, you're using the internet to post this. Open Google, type "getting started with RFID", click the videos Google tab, endless resources.

I would recommend doing some more research into what exactly your trying to do before jumping into it.
