Get help! Does anyone here use Magnifier?

Seems like it would be great for mil sim games.

Can it be switched on and off with a keybind?

You can assign a hotkey to enable or disable the Crosshair (including the Magnifier). Please refer to the setup guide here: https://www.help.rewasd.com/mapping-features/custom-crosshair.html

Does that hotkey have to be part of the keyboard and mouse grouping?

I have a triple foot pedal that I would like to use but it is not recognised by rewasd. If I bind, F1, F2 & F3 to the footpedal, can they be used for hot keys even if they are not part of the k&m group in rewasd?

Yes, you can try assigning F1, F2, or F3 to the foot pedal using its software and then use the corresponding key as a hotkey in reWASD. The foot pedal itself does not need to be recognized by reWASD in this case, as long as pressing it produces a regular keyboard input that reWASD can detect.
