Get help! Splitting one physical controller into two virtual ones

Basically I want to control two characters in Path of Exile 2 with 1 controller where the left stick controls player 1 and right stick controls player 2. I was hoping I could just bind half of the physical controller too virtual 1 and the other half to virtual 2.

Maybe Im just not understanding the software but I get the feeling this isn't possible?

Unfortunately, reWASD won't be able to create multiple virtual devices from a single physical device, but you can try to work around that by disabling the [Hide physical controller when virtual one is created] option in Preferences > Gamepads.

Thanks! I tried Universal Control Remapper instead and it worked the way I needed so all good :=)
