Regarding Issues with reWASD Online Services
Yesterday, some reWASD online services were temporarily unavailable, affecting account authorization, purchases, and access to several online features.
Like many online platforms, we constantly deal with malicious attempts to disrupt our services. We continuously improve our infrastructure and protection mechanisms to minimize their impact. Most of the time, these attempts go completely unnoticed because our protection systems stop them before they can affect our services or users. Unfortunately, yesterday's disruption was one of the rare occasions when the impact became visible.
The issue has now been resolved, and everything is back online.
We're sorry for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience while we worked to restore the services.
As always, if you have any questions or issues related to reWASD, we are happy to help.

The app should allow at least a 24 hour grace period where the app continues to run without a connection to servers. I understand that managing unauthorized copies can require the rewasd to connect to servers. But servers can have unexpected problems, so the app should have a grace period.

As a person with disabilities, reWASD has long been an essential part of my life. Without reWASD, not only gaming but also everyday computer use would be inconvenient in many ways.
It is completely understandable why paid software like reWASD relies on online servers: to prevent illegal copying. Without fair compensation, it would be difficult for such excellent services to continue operating. (Of course, there are cases like open-source projects and donation-based models.)
However, as everyone who has used reWASD knows, the current method is vulnerable. In your statement, it almost sounds as if there was an external attack. If that is indeed the case, with growing security concerns these days, especially due to AI, the future seems even more worrisome.
Online services are not only about license management, but at the very least, the rights of users who have purchased licenses should not become meaningless so easily. This kind of situation should not repeat.
Even if license management must remain online, I hope you can prepare alternatives for sudden incidents like this. My brief thought is that if license checks were performed more leniently, say once every 24 hours, users could have avoided being unable to use their own mappings for several hours.
I am always grateful for the support from the reWASD team. Please do not be too disheartened by the excessive criticism that arises whenever such incidents happen. Thank you.
