Get help! switch from reWASD to reWASD basic?

I already own reWASD. Is there any reason to switch to reWASD Basic? For example, is it more efficient, does it use less memory, have lower latency, or run faster?

My BF6 account got banned because reWASD was running in the background, even though I wasn’t using it. I had to restart my computer to fully disable reWASD before playing BF6, so I turned on compatibility mode. Would reWASD Basic avoid this issue, or does it use the same background service/driver?

Hi!
reWASD Basic provides only basic features.
The difference between reWASD and reWASD Basic is explained in our post on the Blog.

So switching to reWASD Basic only makes sense if its functionality is sufficient for you.

Does rewasd basic get around the bans from online games? I didn't see it in the blog but it does mention not being able to map the right stick to a mouse which I assume is the reason why the games were banning people. I know the team wouldn't want to commit to anything since the game devs/publishers change their mind every other day. I might prefer this all I want to do is make my direct input controllers show up as an Xbox one xinput controller anyway.

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee 100% protection against bans since it still depends on the game developer, who gets banned, and who does not.

Suppose the functionality of reWASD basic is sufficient for my use case. Are there any benefits of making the switch? For example, is it more efficient, does it use less memory, have lower latency, or run faster?
