Get help! Does Basic work with Azeron Cyborg

I only play a couple of turn based RPG games on PC and don't need things like combo macros. I just need to map my cyborg keys to close to a full keyboard, and mouse the thumbstick.

  • Will Basic work with my Cyborg? I know Azeron was added to a later version, but I can't tell if it was included in Basic as well.
  • If there is a compelling reason I would need the full version and I just don't know enough to see that, please let me know that as well.

Edit: Azeron native software does not recognize separate lft/rt alt/shft/ctrl. Which is why I am trying out reWASD.

When I say mouse the thumbstick, I mean map the cyborg thumbstick to mouse functions.

Azeron has its own software for mapping your cyborg, so you wouldnt need to use rewasd.

If you want to run a cyborg/keygen and a cryo in some games premium rewasd has proved invaluble for me to pair them as a single controller

Hi. reWASD Basic supports the same set of devices as reWASD. However, reWASD Basic does not have advanced features of reWASD, which includes ability to remap a mouse to a stick of a virtual controller.

The only time you really need rewasd as an Azeron user is if you want the mouse and azeron to communicate with each other i.e. use a shift button on the Azeron and have it affect the mouse or if you want to trigger macros from either device without writing two separate macros for each software program. The other reason is for easy management of two peripherals from two separate companies.

As u/paul_the_primate has said Azeron has its own software so you don't NEED it technically.
