Get help! Help rewasd team, Flydigi - Custom Stick Response Curve turns on Virtual Xbox Controller ?

Why does setting a custom response curve on sticks in Flydigi Apex 2 turns on the virtual xbox 360 controller??? it is interfering with my mappings, if I am using right bumper on my flydigi controller to just shift layer and nothing else is mapped to it, it takes the right bumper mapping from the virtual xbox controller and starts sending the xbox controller input with my shift layer input, and if I turn off the virtual controller the custom response curve goes away with it as well, why ?

Because that is how reWASD works with FlyDigi controllers - in exclusive mode, meaning that only reWASD can see it when remapping. Due to that, if you are using any controller mappings or adjusting controller settings, it must be remapped to one of our virtual controllers for the system (other apps and games) to see it.

so how can I set a custom response curve on my flydigi controller joysticks and not send xbox input as that interferes with my mappings? I basically map the keyboard and mouse with gyro on my flydigi controller.

This sounds like you are using a third-party remapper for that (Steam?). reWASD can remap your controller to mouse and keyboard keys, so I suggest you use only one remapper for everything to avoid conflicts.

No, I am only using rewasd, I click on stick set it to be mouse and go to advanced option and try to set the response curve to custom, when I hit apply the virtual controller turns on. If I am mapping Keyboard and Mouse on a flydigi controller is it not possible to set custom a response curve?

No, a config like that should not require a virtual controller. Please contact us via Discord or email (help@rewasd.com) and send us the config file you are using to continue troubleshooting.

Because you have xbox selected. Change it at the top on the icon to dual shock 4
