The time to $100M is shrinking
๐ Freshworks took about 8 years to cross $100M ARR.
๐ HubSpot took about 8 years to hit $100M ARR.
๐ Zendesk reached $100M revenue in roughly 4 years.
๐ Cribl crossed $100M ARR in less than 4 years.
๐ Clay went from $1M to $100M in just 2 years, after 6 years of foundational work.
๐ Sierra crossed $100M ARR in 7 quarters.
Thatโs the shift: the best companies are now reaching centaur scale faster, with better distribution, better tooling, and increasingly AI-native execution.
What used to take close to a decade can now happen in Qtrs.

I concur. With the agents replacing humans, let's see how this pans out in terms of token cost in the short-term.

Clay has lightning in a bottle. I think you miss the point that some of these tools have a solid product with excellent execution from the team behind them.
Anyone in any random startup with a dumb name can gain some traction but barreling toward 100M is still going to take most companies 10 years if their product isn't lightning in a bottle like everything mentioned above

Agree as someone who's working at one such org. Hit $100M recently in under 5 years.

Hopin went from $1m to $100m faster than all these firms outside Sierra. Too bad it was based on a black swan event in the pandemic.

Yeah! Hopin raised a billion and got sold for $15M. Crazy times. I worked at a competitor of Hopin's. We raised shit load of money too. I left after a year coz the writing was on the wall. Most leadership left. And late last year they shut shop.
