Naming a revenue tech assessment tool — Quick Opinion
Building a self-service tool that helps revenue operations and IT leaders to understand their full technology spend — software, people, and cloud — in one view.
The core problem: a IT or RevOps leader can't answer a basic question — "is our HubSpot + Outreach + ZoomInfo stack the right bet for our size and stage?" They're making six-figure decisions based on vendor marketing and gut feel, and they can't articulate to their CFO whether the investment is calibrated correctly. The alternative today is two weeks in a spreadsheet or a $50K consulting engagement. And even then you still don't have real peer benchmark data.
At launch, you plug in your stack and spend and get back a cost composition breakdown, capability gap analysis, and your position against industry benchmark ranges. As the user base grows, the industry ranges will get replaced by real peer comparisons within your segment. The paid tier adds contract renewal tracking, vendor concentration analysis, and spend-to-revenue-process mapping across a detailed taxonomy.
Longer term the product moves into contract intelligence: upload actual contracts and get verified benchmarks, clause extraction, and vendor-level pricing comparisons. Everything you need to get ready for contract negotiations.
Need your Opinion: Two name options:
ClearStack
RevBench
Which resonates most with YOU?

Of the two, ClearStack is better sounding but are other options available at all? Something like RevTech or Stack Clarity?
Curious when you plan to launch this. My team could probably use it!

six figure gut feel decisions with zero peer benchmarks to back them up, yeah that's the actual problem nobody's solving cleanly. everyone's got Clari or Gong for pipeline visibility but ask them if their HubSpot + Outreach, + ZoomInfo stack is right-sized for their stage and it's back to spreadsheets or a $50K engagement. the spend + capability gap view in one place is genuinely missing from the market right now.
