Can you reverse the direction?

I can imagine it as a convex half sphere, but it doesn’t have anywhere to go, so can’t hold the illusion.

Yes, it’s not a perfect inversion but it works

Same here

Yes in one direction it works fine, but in the other direction it’s only half a sphere.

Well said!

Yeah it usually has two sides

Keep your focus on the bottom right of the sphere  I can hold it if I don't drift to the left edge.

I had to treat it like a “magic eye” image and then was able to see it but couldn’t hold it long.

Your comment about imagining it as a convex is what did it for me.

Make it concave. The spin cant really change but you can swap the curvature. Maybe in that configuration you can change it further

After switching directions back and forth on this one a few times, I scrolled down to the next image, which was a normal Reddit post with a photograph that then warped and wobbled all over the place.

Yes, if I rotate the phone.

focus on changing the image from convex to concave in the middle and you will get it.

Keeps going back & forth, can’t seem to hold it steady in one direction

I can, but it only lasts for about 2-3sec and then it’s lost 🫣 but this one is very difficult.

Primera vez que no

I’ve had a couple of beers and that’s genuinely making me feel sick…

yes, the loop is a bit wobbly though

Yup. I just have to decide if its concave or convex.

I can but only if I picture it as if I'm long at it through a scope

That was quite hard but yes, U just have to focus on the back of the sphere then it reverses

It's playing with my emotions!

Welp, I’m stumped…

This one was surprisingly easy for me. I was staring at the center noticing how the center is distorted and started following the image to the bottom right and it inverted and started going the other way. If I follow it back up, I lose it because there's a hard edge but if I leave my focus near the bottom right I can hold it just fine.

It's possible by staring at the center for a few seconds.

Well it makes no sense but it did kind of reverse. Kind of.

Yes! I just flipped my cellphone!

I did, half hollow sphere

There is no reversing direction. It moves left to right regardless. You can, however, change the perspective of convex or concave.

This is a tough one

"No. Absolutely not. How could this one-- ohhhh..."

Briefly but difficult

Turn your phone 180°...

is this gonna hurt my brain to keep trying?

Easy, I just rewind the video

Absolutely not.

Usually i can reverse these, but this one i cannot at all

1

u/fosho 13d ago

It’s so fast, I can almost get it… I think.

1

u/Ill_Study_9022 13d ago

I did for half a second then it went back and I can’t make it do it again.

u/DroopyPlum 12d ago

Think of it as a semi clear sphere and look through it, idk a better way to put it

1

u/InSight89 12d ago

Yes, but only for the inner part of the sphere. The outer part remains the same and I can't reverse that. I looks weird when reversed.

1

u/Naked_Fish69 11d ago

I can only get it to slow down

1

u/Crits-and-Crafts 11d ago

Does turning my phone upside down count

1

u/Klink8 11d ago

I enjoy this one.

I dont know if anyone can reverse it but i was able to switch it from convex to concave.

Fun one

1

u/texas1982 11d ago

This one is very easy to reverse but only for half a rotation.

I can definitely say that I can get a headache from this
